The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) is the oldest defense and security think tank in the world, established in 1831 by the Duke of Wellington and located in Whitehall, London, United Kingdom.
It was officially registered as the Royal United Service Institute for Defence and Security Studies and previously known as the Royal Services Institute for Defence Studies.
RUSI's publications provide thorough, timely, and policy-relevant analyses of both UK and international defense and security matters. Prominent scholars and practitioners contribute to RUSI’s esteemed periodicals, monographs, books, and reports.
