This series is a classic among aviation enthusiasts as a comprehensive encyclopedia of every warplane flown during the Second World War. It includes aircraft, prototypes and production, built and flown in every nation involved in the war from Australia to Yugoslavia. It includes a well research history, description of variants, specification and a detailed three-view drawing. It is the best reference for aircraft used during the war and in some cases, the only history available.
This is a series of twelve books. Volumes 1-4 Fighter planes, Volume 5 Flying Boats, Volume 6 Floatplanes, Volumes 7-10 bombers and reconnaissance Aircraft. This is an incomplete set.
