WHIZZING in under the noses of Nazi warships, E-boats, dive-bombers, U-boats- and out again, the British Air Sea Rescue launches against all odds picked up the crews of R.A.F planes forced to ditch on the way home. Regardless of weather or danger, they were always there, the last life-line for the desperate crews of damaged planes.
